A picture says a thousand words right. This symbolizes the most moving day exploring the memorial and central Berlin and learning about the horrible trauma of the holocaust. It astonished me the propoganda used and psychologically, the mentality of these millions of people before, during and after being conned in the most elaborate way ever. This picture also represents the day I and my travel buddies saw the march of the Syrian's. Hundreds of people peacefully passing the American Embassy to protest against helping Syria. While a meagre few, yet very touching Syrian's stood by the side of the road weeping, utterly powerless, repetitvely shouting in their broken english "O-BA-MA. HELP!" This picture also represents the day I got my purse stolen from my bag. I suppose it makes me a true traveller! All while the night-life experience from the previous evening was magnifying every emotion ten-fold! I had an amazing 2 and half weeks travelling. More challenging than many of the other trips I have been on, even India I hesitate to say.The organisation needed was draining but so much fun at the same time. I experienced travelling solo, as part of various friend/sister/stranger couples and with random people picked up along the way. Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague (amazing!), Athens, Piraeus, Ios and Santorini need days for me to re-read my diary and explain how fantastic they all were! I will get onto that. But for now, I must resist the daydreaming and revert back to absentmindedly gazing out the window into the grey tumultuous clouds, trying to focus my mind on the office job at hand!
